My husband and I booked the Clifton house for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was by far the best place we have ever stayed! We stayed in both the Audobon suite and the Panorama suite because we originally booked the Audobon for two nights and loved it so much we decided to stay another two nights. Both suites were amazing! So clean and comfortable. The property manager was kind enough to let us move rooms early instead of having to move our things and then wait till check in at 4:00. She was kind, helpful, and prompt in her responses. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back to the Clifton House!
Very nice house furnished with lovely antiques. The view of the River is amazing! The riverwalk along the bluff runs in front of the house and will take you to the Under the Hill area. The sunsets are breathtaking!
Classy and elegantly furnished, even better than how it looked in the photos. I loved every detail, especially the porch and the view from it.
My wife and I have been here twice already. Trying to experience every room. We stayed in the observatory and big river north. Big river north was comfortable but it got rather warm. Other then that we enjoyed the stay both times

Very comfortable. A little tricky to find, but it was no big deal. Just find the Clifton Alley and you'll be alright.

Great place to stay, right on the river. The view of the river is amazing and surprisingly peaceful. We stayed in the Audubon room. Room is great and huge. Bathroom has a large double shower, no tub. Skeleton key for the door not so great, got the hang of it the last day :). Rug under the bed is not the most comfortable on the feet. The road the house is on is super narrow so be ready for that. If you need to watch TV, use the Roku app on your phone, it has a very easy to use remote. Any negatives outweighed by the awesomeness of the house! We will definitely be back.
